Brave The Cold Wind
I found refuge away from the city,
I followed your present course.
But I sit with words and nothing to say,
Speech I can not find when I’m yours.
The wings of music surrounds my senses,
And all I can do is wait,
The sound of your lullaby shatters my defenses,
And my mind spines out of turn in sedate.
I feel I’m strong enough to help you see,
One look, one touch is all you need,
Give up the dark fight and be set free,
I’ll brave the cold wind to shelter you and me.
Try to understand the meaning of life,
If only you would look my away again,
You search for love and find only strife,
Indulging in all the world’s great sin.
Pleasure is found in the construction of lies,
All the players have run out on you,
The stage is bare and the seats are empty,
Now you run far away because you’ve been the fool.
I feel I’m strong enough to help us through,
One kiss, one love is all that you need.
The fighting is over now what do you do,
But brave the cold wind to be free.
